HEI Play cabins was inspired by indonesian Venacular Architecture, specifically in the cities where houses are uniquely stacked and built upon each other, on the sides and where several familes live very closely together.

We fused these housing forms together to create a series of cabin towers at different heights that start with the lower toddlers height and gradually reaches to the forth tower via a net bridge. On each cabin tower we designed different play routes to challenge different ages and abilities of children.

The playground is cladded in wood-composite which is predominently produced from recycled plastic with a combination of galvanised steel structure
